Disproving Darwin

As many of my readers should know, it’s quite hard to argue with all those irrational Darwinists out there. They just talk and talk about fossil records and other nonsense while completely ignoring any rational opposition. However, I have just created a logical argument to finally put the nail into the Evolutionist coffin. Behold:

Evolution implies that my uncle is a monkey.

My uncle is not a monkey.

Therefore, Darwinism is false.

With an argument that valid, the Theory of Intelligent Design should be replacing Evolutionist studies all over the country by the time the fall semester comes around!

  1. LOL

  2. There is a logical fallacy in your reasoning. In order for a deductive statement to be true, the premises need to be true. For example, here is a false statement that is logically sound:
Premise 1: All dogs are green
Premise 2: Jake is a dog
    Conclusion: Therefore, Jake is green.
As you can see, the conclusion follows logically from the premises; however, not all dogs are green. Premise 1 is wrong. The same holds true for your argument. Premise 1 is not what evolutionary theory says, so the conclusion you reach that “Darwinism is false” is not correct. It is true that humans are very distinct from every extant non-human primate, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t share a common ancestry. Also, just because humans are primates, doesn’t mean that humans are monkeys (Chimps aren’t even monkeys, they are apes).
